Both "Lucky Charm" and "Eminent Domain" will be screened on Friday, May 31st at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, CA. The screening is by invite only, but look for pictures from the event coming soon.

TRIGGERSTREET DOT COM

I gotta tell ya... I joined TriggerStreet.com in March and I couldn't be happier. I had read about the site in a screenwriting magazine so I checked it out that day and immediately signed up.

The purpose of the site is to give a community of filmmakers and sreenwriters the opportunity to have their peers analyze and give feedback on their work without any fear. They have a Short Films, Short Stories, Screenplays, and Books areas.

My focus is screenwriting, so that's what it's all about for me. There are rules set up so that you are required to review scripts and earn credits before you can actually have someone review scripts that you upload. There are some very talented, dedicated people that contribute to the site via the message boards and personal comments. This is a very nurturing community that will definitely help any screenwriter (especially this one) hone their skills and really achieve great things with their ideas.

At the moment, I'm taking on assignments and reviewing screenplays for various members. By doing this, I am building up credits so that when I upload my screenplays, I can immediately start to get some reviews!

The people on the site are so awesome. They are a definite cast of characters that lend to a great story within itself.

I would advise any screenwriter, beginning or seasoned, to join the site, build a profile, and share your knowledge and experiences.

WHY THIS BLOG?

I wanted a place to talk about all of my screenplay antics. My experiences. Good or bad.

I wanted someplace that I could actually start WRITING for goodness sakes!

I am about to dive into writing my 2nd screenplay and I wanted somewhere to document my journey.

Thus, this blog.

We'll see how things develop, huh?

Stay tuned.

ANOTHER SCREENING FOR TOUCH SOUND!

How cool is this?

This is the screening room at Warner Bros. Studios where TWO short films that I recently completed post audio on will be shown. The screening is on Friday, May 31, 2008.

The films are "Lucky Charm" (Written & Directed by H.M. Ostrove) and "Eminent Domain" (Written & Directed by Leigh Carlson).

It's a private screening (otherwise, I would ask every single one of you to come and check it out!)

I had to blog about it because it's just so exciting to hear my work in a large theater setting.

When I get the DVDs of the films I will be putting up scenes on the PROJECTS page of www.touchsound.com, so you will all be able to check them out.

TOUCH SOUND HITS THE SILVER SCREEN

Tony J. has recently completed work on "The Receptionist", a 20 minute short film that will be screened at The Regent Showcase Cinema in Hollywood, CA on Thursday, May 8, 2008. This will be the first time that Tony J.'s work will be heard in this large of a theater. Scenes from "The Receptionist" will be available for viewing soon on the PROJECTS page here on www.touchsound.com.

SCREENING OF 'THE RECEPTIONIST'

About 7 months ago, I was sitting in a movie theater in Granada Hills and when the movie was over, I said to myself, "I want to hear my sound work in a big theater one day." Well my friends, that day is today!

"The Receptionist" is a 20 minute short film that I did Sound Design, Re-Recording Mixing, Dialogue Editing, Effects Editing, ADR, etc. - the whole enchilada! - and tonight they are having a screening out in Hollywood.

The screening is taking place at The Regent Showcase Cinema, located at 614 N. La Brea, which is a 700 seat theater!

I'm so excited to hear my work and have an audience experience it in that environment as well.

There are a total of 7 short films being screened so it sounds like a great evening.

If you, my personal friends, can make it down, please do.
