Gawd daaaaaamn! Now this is what Poppin' is about right here. My boy Richie Rich moderated a peaceful battle between Slick Dogg & Tempo (G-Style) and Jazzy J and Jrock (Boogaloo) at the 2010 Bboy Summit that was held at Avalon in Hollywood, CA.

My Birthday Fundraiser for O.I.

Osteogenesis Imperfecta (O.I.) is a genetic disorder that is characterized by brittle bones that break easily.

I live with O.I. and I've been blessed to have accomplished many great things even with the disability.  Even after breaking my bones over 35 times in various parts of my body, I have always kept a positive attitude about life and continue to live my dreams.

I want others (most with more severe cases of O.I.) to have a chance to do some great things also!  Let's heal the bones as well as the spirits of those living with O.I.

My birthday was on July 25th and instead of asking for gifts, I put together a campaign to raise $250 to go towards research to find a cure for O.I.

Apple, Dude!

So, some people say that I am a little obsessed with Apple products.

Yes.  Yes, I am.

This is a picture taken in my studio earlier today.

At one point today - actually, this happens more often than not - I was using all four of these devices at once!

Seems a bit silly and overkill to most, but the truth of the matter is I got A TON OF WORK DONE!  And it is with all of these amazing, fantastic, even magical devices that I make it all happen.

We Can ALL Make Money

I work in the entertainment business.  There is plenty of money to go around.  Not really sure why people try their best to cheap other people out.  Just for the record, I don’t cheap anyone out.  I’ve spent a lot of time in this game and I feel that EVERYONE has value in the services they provide.  I have a ton of talented friends in many facets of this industry. I would NEVER expect them to provide me a service for less than what they are worth.  Sometimes, we work out deals, swap services, whatever it takes so WE CAN ALL MAKE MONEY!

The bottom line is... DON’T BE GREEDY!  We can all make money and if you are truly going to ‘hook up’ your friends with gigs, then HOOK THEM UP!

Day 1 - I rocked out with Tee at a party she was DJing for NYE until 3:00am. Went to sleep at about 4:30am and woke up at 6:15am to go out to the Rose Parade with my Pops, Tee, and Mr. Panda Champ! That's why I look wrecked! Hahaha!

JANKY-ASS HOLLYWOOD PROMOTERS

Seriously, how can someone be a promoter and be broke? If a promoter cannot pay-out the people that they hire that night, there is something economically wrong with their situation. Trying to floss like they are high-rollers but in all seriousness, they are some broke ass jokes that don't make any money at promoting. The folks that run THIS SO-CALLED PROMOTIONS COMPANY are just that. They couldn't hit off a $300 payment at the end of the night. How sad is that. They couldn't get enough business to make $300? And even so, they didn't have $300 in their wallet to pay-out someone? Seriously sad.

I'm an old cat with a new bat, don't forget it. I've been doing the Hollywood club scene for MANY years now. People like this, I've seen them come and go. Like these clowns... they don't realize that they'll be out of business in a year, broke ... and I'll still be in the Hollywood scene. Makin' my money with business people that also make money. Teemaree said it best, "How can I do business with someone that doesn't have any money?"

It's bad business and it shows no character for people to say something - make a verbal contract even - and not uphold their word. In the REAL WORLD, there is no such thing as "I'll pay you tomorrow". The only circumstance that would have me accept this sort of deal is if it was a good friend of mine that I have known for a while. Someone I trust.

The night that these guys couldn't pay-out, some crazy dude who kept calling me "pimp", seriously put himself into a bad situation. He just doesn't get it... and that's fine. Like I said, he'll be back to his 9-5 within the year and I'll still be in the scene makin' my money.

I actually feel really bad for these people. But at the same time, your character really shows a lot and determines how things will play out.

God is watchin' People should remember that!

"GLOW" 2008 - SANTA MONICA, CA

Had the pleasure of attending the first "GLOW", which was a huge FREE party that was held at the Santa Monica Pier and surrounding beach area. It was a cool night out there with the fam bam. Thousands of people. Cool vibe. For the first one, it was good. I'm sure they will get the kinks worked out for next year!
