Dynamite Jive's Email List

We all see what's happening to MySpace, right?  It's going away.  And eventually, even Twitter and Facebook will meet the same demise.  There will be other social networking sites, but we've found that it's most important to keep records and stay in contact with our friends and fans by maintaining our own Email List for Dynamite Jive.

It's for this reason that I am asking you to sign up right now!  We won't bombard your inbox with unnecessary, spam-ish emails.  Honestly, we send out updates about once per month.  Occasionally more when there are really important things going on.

We will also be offering exclusive things to those signed up!

As always, we appreciate your continued support of our music and we look forward to seeing everyone out at one of our live shows soon.

Kanye West - "Power" (featuring Dwele)

Hmmmm. Not sure if I'm feelin' this. I'll have to listen a few times.

I'm glad Kanye is back, but he better come with that street flava as well on this next album.

What do y'all think? Leave a comment!

Aight, we gonna peep out Drake's latest featuring Jeezy.

It's called, "Shut It Down"

What do y'all think?  Is his album gonna live up to the hype?  My answer is... yes.

Apple, Dude!

So, some people say that I am a little obsessed with Apple products.

Yes.  Yes, I am.

This is a picture taken in my studio earlier today.

At one point today - actually, this happens more often than not - I was using all four of these devices at once!

Seems a bit silly and overkill to most, but the truth of the matter is I got A TON OF WORK DONE!  And it is with all of these amazing, fantastic, even magical devices that I make it all happen.

I'm a 'Shreditor'!

How exciting! Over the weekend, I was having a great conversation with my good pal, Andrew S.  We were chatting about different projects that we are working on and I was telling him about the various projects that I am shooting, producing, and editing.  He said, 'Oh, you're a shreditor.'  I said, "That's awesome!"

So, there ya have it - Shooter / Producer / Editor = "Shreditor"

Thanks, Andrew!

iPad On Set

I've had the iPad since it's release, day one. I've been using it every day since. Mostly for reading, surfing the interwebs, doing emails, and Twitter. There are lots of cool apps designed specifically for the iPad and I recently had the pleasure of actually using one on set for my monthly production that I produce/shoot/edit called, 'The Buzz'.

The app is Teleprompt+ and it's absolutely genius. I was able to rig up the iPad just under the camera lens using a baby stand. And the best part was that the company offers a free 'remote' for the iPhone which you can use to control the iPad version! Genius!

I had an issue with the Google Docs import function when I first started getting my script set up. I emailed the company and they quickly responded with a solution. (it was a google issue, not theirs) Once I did a good old copy/paste and got my script into the app, it took all of 10 seconds to get up and running with the remote and all.

Once we started shooting, the Host had an enjoyable experience reading off the iPad and this app. It was great to be able to stand to the side and control the scroll of the text. I did have a slight lag issue when stopping and trying to scroll to the top of the script. Most of the time, I would just step up to the iPad and do a quick scroll up to the top of the portion of the script that we were working on.

A couple features that I would love to see would be:

1) Markers - and the ability to jump to the markers as needed.

2) Jump to Top option

3) Seeing the words of the script on the iphone remote

I've only used it once so I'm sure there are other feature suggestions I'll have after the next time!

Great job BOMBING BRAIN INTERACTIVE!

The app sells for $9.99 and the remote is FREE! Great value!

Get it on iTunes and visit their Official Site.
